Tullie Seneca – Owner/Manager
Hi I’m Tullie Seneca. I’m a Ceduna local, I grew up in Ceduna, and completed my schooling here. I am married to Don Seneca and have two gorgeous girls Charli and Madison.
I have 25 years’ experience in the travel industry. I completed a travel course after leaving school and returned to Ceduna to take up a position as a Travel Consultant at Ceduna Travel Centre in 1995 working for Jenny Genrich. I took over managing the travel agency in 1997 when my parents bought the business and became an owner with Don in 2001.
I have a passion for travel, I think my passion was ignited on my first trip which was to the Gold Coast when I was 16 years old. The trip was with someone I had never met.
I love travelling and get away whenever I can, if I was really honest I’m probably a little addicted to it. I have been fortunate to have travelled to 38 countries and some of them twice or more. One of my favourite destinations is Africa, it is so diverse and offers many amazing experiences. I have been lucky enough to go eight times so far and travelled from the beautiful southern tip of Cape Town to the amazing pyramids of Cairo in the North.
I have now found a niche in the market and my speciality is escorting groups overseas. I have had great success with groups and I take two groups a year to different parts of the world. Some of my previous group trips have been to Cambodia and Vietnam in 2015, Zimbabwe, Botswana and South Africa in 2016, Dubai, Egypt and Greece in 2018, Kenya and Tanzania in 2019, Sri Lanka and the Maldives in 2019.
The next group departures are Zimbabwe and South Africa in February 2020 and then to Singapore, Cambodia and Vietnam in August/September, 2020.
We have experienced an amazing year in 2019 and this was topped off with award win. We were awarded the Travellers Choice Encouragement Award in November 2019. The award is awarded to smaller agencies that are punching above their weight and are industry leaders. It was a wonderful achievement and one I am very proud of.
I love going into my travel agency every day and creating amazing holidays and memories for my clients. We work in a service industry and we strive to offer the best possible service to our clients, attention to detail is of the utmost importance!
My favourite quote was advice given to me by my Contiki Tour director on one of my first ever trips
“Just because it is different, doesn’t mean it’s wrong”
